hell yea that's good lmao. i7 isn't needed for gaming though,you could save $100 with an i5,and water cooling not needed,get a 30 dollar cooler master 212 evo,graphics card is overkil, gtx 670 would be more than good enough,just depends how picky you are on graphics. ATI cards are generally a little cheaper than nvidia, 7950 would be good

That card is $1000? Eeesh, I didn't really look at prices, just what people were saying were good parts.

Sounds like less card, less cpu would make more sense.

Well an Ultimate Aero isn't exactly made for driving around a neighborhood, it's not low like that for style.

And Metal, the GTX690 is double the price of the next graphic card down the line. Because it is pretty much two 680's in one.

And I think the 670 is a much better deal than the 680, it's only about 5% worse but it's $100 less. It can max every game out now, with only Crysis 3 getting poor performance.

I'm not really looking to buy one, I was bored and started looking into parts a bit.

Took a bunch of recommendations and put it together to see if it would be decent. I don't think I could ever go back to playing games with a mouse anyway because I hate it so much.

Yes, but for a shooter like BF 4 other players would be using the m/keyboard option and have an advantage. Basically I would be forced to use it for shooters to be competitive.

The catch 22 is I would only really want the PC for those shooters in the first place.

Eh, doesn't matter. I really don't see myself spending 1k on something I dislike so strongly just to get the best version of BF4, only to have to play it with controls I hate to the depths of my soul.

I don't mind the mouse so much,it's the combination of it with the keyboard that screws me up very badly in FPS online,against the a.i. I can take my time.

I was just thinking,I don't know if a GTX 670 would cut it on a 50inch screen,most gamers don't go really bigger than about 23inch or so. And I assume all that extra screen space would be taxing

Lowers the center of gravity for better handling, "slamming" your car or putting it too low is dumb though and will mess you up other than cosmetic parts(Done by ricers and idiots mainly.) The Aero is naturally low to the ground because it's a super car beast and is meant to achieve speeds of 200mph +

Also buy the TITAN card instead of the 690, it's like $150 more and is a single GPU with 6GB ram.

resolution is the same regardless of screen size. a 20 inch 1080p screen would be just as taxing on a GPU as a 50 inch 1080p screen.

You should wait and see if BF4 can support the same number of players on PC as on console. Cause once you play 64 player battlefield you'll never wanna go back to 24.

I wouldn't ever personally go bigger than like 32inch for a major console tv,and about 23inch is good for me on pc


still gaming on xbox on 1440x900 on this old polaroid hdtv from walmart in 2009 haha, it's like 19inch

yea,I tried xbox on my 1080p asus monitor and it looked like ass,very blurry pop ups when friends come online,etc. it's like the whole system was designed for 480i sd tvs

Yeah, the current info is that BF4 will be 64 player on PC/PS4/720. Plus if the next round of consoles don't look to different from the PC version then I'll be fine.

Mostly I just want to try it with more players.

Xbox cant output more than that

The base resolution is 720p, and then it can be upscaled to 1080p.

If you can build your own PC, it's worth it, you cut a lot of the price out for the same product, and from what I've heard, it's not as hard as it seems. Tom here can help you with that if you have any questions Very Happy
