Yeah I never got into BF3 on PC for that reason.

It would be easy as fuck for them to implement cross-platform leveling seeing as it's all server-side but they don't because they're dicks.

I hope they don't make BF4 such a grind. At the very least they better take out the damn vehicle unlocks, that was a terrible idea. Really killed the game for me.
