Honestly, Its kind of dumb to be hanging around watching a chemical fire, but I cant say I wouldnt have been doing the exact same thing.

I sucked in chemistry,but,with it raining shouldn't that make it less dangerous? Supposed to be cold and rainy today

edit: what I mean is,somebody said the rain should wash the vapors out of the air?

I should be ok, I wouldn't touch the water here anyway,got lead poisoning as a child from it. A friend who works for the city here told me there's so much crap in the water...literally >_>

a girl in the next town over got a letter in the mail from her city saying don't drink the water because it would cause cancer...I guess wayyy too many chemicals in it Evil or Very Mad

yeah ammonium nitrate is highly explosive and yeah... not nice stuff.

NH4NO3 in water dissociates and releases H+ ions = acid.

so basically a giant explosion killed 70 people, injured hundreds and now there is a possiblity of a fuckton of acid rain.

Been a very rough day in Texas. Can't imagine what these people went through.
Big ass fucking explosion! The oklahoma bombing was 1 ton, this could have been 25 tons of fertilizer.
