consoles are just lame nowadays. I doubt there will an xbox 360 still functional in 10 years. My old ps2? I could drop it five feet onto a concrete floor and the game wouldn't even stop playing. My N64 still works better than my 360.

mine hasnt given me any issues yet, had it for years.

mind you, it hasnt been used for a year, and when it was used it was under the TV in a well ventilated spot and i never played straight for the disk.

I have a slim and it stopped beeping when you hit the power or eject buttons like 2 months after I got it. Other than that no problems.

Yeah, my 360 was one of the good ones. Its on all the time anymore too. Since the GF and I use it for Netflix.

I had a launch 360 Core model up until a year ago. Worked perfectly fine, except the gears in the disk drive gold old and worn out. So I had to open the tray with my Bowie knife. Other then that it worked great.

Only reason I sold it is cause I found the Gears of War 3 Xbox at Target.

Fact is 360 was a shit piece of hardware, with amazingly high failure rates.
