M:LL seems to be running at around on the average of 38'ish fps on Very High setting (with no AA) in the first starting stage.

The thing is, as far as fps is concerned, it seems like it does not really matter what setting I choose since I still get around same thing with normal setting. I have not tried low yet, since I saw the fps was not much different in the in-game menu prior to starting the game (the scene is rendered, not pre-rendered).

I did notice that my card did not reach the temperature of 80c, which is the default max for the boost stop, so I am thinking maybe the newest nvidia beta driver released for M:LL treats 30~40fps as optimal. The problem is, since I got so used to near/at 60fps, my eyes are very tired after moving about a little bit...

Wonder if any one else is having similar issue with the game.

How do your 680's in SLI run the game? I know a few benches I have seen say that the titan should get 60 fps at max settings (no SSAA or PhysX).

I heard it and the first game were badly optimized. I dunno the FPS but I've been fine with it,playing on very high preset with tessellation on high, and physx and ssaa off, motion blur off/low

I have not put in 680s in my case since I got my Titan and ZXR, so cant really tell you about it. Both are back in their original boxes, one ready to ship once I decide who gets it, and the other one is for backup.

I tried turning PhysX both on and off, but I did not really see the difference in fps. I gave closer look at the GPU boost, but it does not boost up even when in unacceptable fps when it has enough head room to boost itself up. Heck, it actually clocks DOWN.

Maybe I should try EVGA Precision X instead of ASUS GPU Tweak. Though,

Also, now I think about it, I don't think near 30 fps is the issue I am having. The game seems to be very "stuttery". I finally tried playing Dead Space 3, which in default sets vsync at 30 fps (unless forcing directly from driver), and did not notice this "stuttery".

There is a benchmark software for M:LL, which I never tried. Maybe I should try it just for the heck of it, and see what happens.

You should be beasting that game with your Titan

Well, I wish it was, but realistically speaking, it's not possible. Metro 2033 did not run at full 60 (well, it mostly did. With falls now and then).

These Eastern Europe developers need to get their acts together and optimize their games more properly.

Although, I have a feeling that its all a gigantic conspiracy to make people already with Titan to buy one more for Quad / Tri / SLI.

Yeah you should be hitting at least 60 with that beast.

Seems like there are others having similar issue with me.

Those that have GTX Titan are having locked out frame rates near 30~40 zone, whether its single or SLI setup. Another person, who actually happens to have my same 680 says (he has Titan too) 680 runs it fine (near 2033 performance).

This series had some problems, including disabling multimedia function of my keyboard (can't change volume in-game unless I fire up steam overlay). Hopefully they will be releasing a patch for it, and I think I have come across a forum post that they will be releasing a patch that will have dramatic performance improvements.

Well, I'm gonna go play Dead Space 3 while they are at it fixing.

YES!

They fixed it. I guess they put the fps fix alongside the DLC update.

So what are you getting now as far as performance?

StormEye

StormEye

Hard to tell, since I locked fps at 60 (not vsync).

But it more or less stays at 60 most of the time.
