Her name is Layla. She's a translucent blue Ibanez Talman acoustic-electric.

And yes, Layla like the Eric Clapton song, haha.

Thanks I listed to a lot of old rock mostly. I am just learning how to play guitar so I am just playing whatever I can play right now, haha. I'm starting lessons in the next week or two so I wanted to get my own guitar, because Ehat has been teaching me on his old acoustic.

Ehat got a BEAUTIFUL black cherry 4-string Schecter Stiletto Extreme bass while we were out today when I got my guitar, so he can stop borrowing our roommate's bass, haha. Got it used but in perfect condition for a steal too.

That's pretty awesome about the bass. I'm kind of in the same boat abou playing whatever I can except I've been playing for 2 years and I'm still terrible. It helps to have others to practice with though. I usually don't so I'm less motivated to practice

That's the nice thing -- Ehat plays bass & some guitar and our roommate (Epyk's brother) plays bass and is AWESOME at guitar, so there is always someone to play with at our house and always someone to help me if I need it. Plus I already play piano and sing and do both pretty regularly, so it's not tough to pick up something else to play.

I love it already which helps, I don't want to put the guitar down so I could practice for like five hours, haha!

That's a pretty neat guitar; ironically enough, I thought you would give it a male name, because guys always give objects female names. Why all inanimate objects are always female? Kind of strange, in a way.

Nice guitar! I use Ibanez almost exclusively. I helped a friend of mine buy that exact guitar, only it was cherry red.

Nah a guitar is female. Look at those curves. That would be one feminine dude if you gave it a male name.
