I have the S3 and have had it for a couple months. I haven't had any screen protector, case or anything like that on it. The screen has a couple scratches on it, and that's fine. Went to a water park the other weekend, and well I really wanted to take some pictures, but my phone isn't water proof. I know Lifeproof makes cases, but those are only for the iPoo's. Now, I know everyone swears by Otterbox cases, but I've known a couple people who have broken their phones with those cases on. Anyway, can anyone of you techie people out there tell me anything about these couple cases I found?

I use an otterbox and have dropped my phone on my different types of surfaces .... phones fine...the case.....is starting to fall apart ...but still works (had the case for just over a year)....but I abuse my phone...

Same I have the otterbox as well and have dropped my phone a couple times and it's fine. I've had it for a year and the outer rubber layer is pretty beat up and doesn't stay on so good anymore but it does it's job well enough.

I'm the only one with a problem with otterbox? It makes the sleep button really hard to press and I knew a girl who had a teeny little crack on her screen but when she put on the case within a week the screen was ruined.


I have an S3 as well but the case isn't waterproof. I only care about dropping them because these phones are unfortunately way easier to break than an iphone.

Make sure your case is fully on the phone, i had the same problem with the sleep button untill  i made sure all the corners were covered.

they had that one company that will treat your phone to make it waterproof with a hydrophobic agent but idk how well it works

liking this galaxy,wanted a phone to text touchscreen on, and the shitty lg 505c I had was laggy as hell trying to text on touchscreen

don't have much on it,just the pizza hut app, and JuiceDefender for the battery (which I'm not sure even helps any.....lol)
