So this weekend, my friends and I had a massive LAN party at a guy named Brent's house. We were on four tables in his garage, as well as having an XBox and SNES set up. We had a huge switchboard, through only four people ended up using Ethernet. We planned to play a massive Civ game, Battlefront 2, BF3, and a short League of Legends tournament. It started with a few of us newbies getting League and learning to play, since the rule was EVERYONE was in the tournament (also we used a 20-sided die to determine who was on which team). Once everyone started playing though, we just kept going. It was radical, I loved playing it. This is what the garage looked like on saturday afternoon.
A few of us stayed the night, ended up playing League and Chivalry until 9 am. Max, Brent and I started the Slingonic Order in chivalry (we basically went on every server we could find and played sling-archer, while preaching the glory of the One Sling).
that afternoon, Siren and I took my sisters bowling for a few hours. I got intensely into it, and started getting more consistent with it. I took over a game for my littlest sister Sofia, and this was the result at the end.
all in all, good weekend.
also, I found this humorous image.
