I was just about to post this Razz if anybody wants to play it on pc even the 9800gt is like 30 bucks on ebay,and that dual core cpu is like 30 bucks haha


30 gb tho for the base game,mother of god....I could put it on the ssd but it would eat the whole damn thing

They recommend a 660, but it only has 2gb of vram. The 3gb of vram seems a little high considering the vast majority of nvidia's high end gpu's come stock with only 2gb.

It'll be at least another year or year and a half before I can upgrade. not sure if my little 570's will be able to handle the game on anything but medium/low graphics.

We'll see.

Lol, well according you my calculations, it'll cost me roughly 1.6k to gut my core components and bring it up to speed. So...distant future to say the least.

So what would be necessary to play BF4 at a steady 60fps and 1080 resolution, without all the bells and whistles, in medium settings for example?

What kind of a budget are we looking at for such a performance?

1080p and 60fps on medium...hmmmmmmmmm idk I'd guess a 660ti/660 maybe or 7950 or maybe 7870, all of those are around ~$200. You could cheap out and get a ~100-115 6 core fx6300 amd cpu and corresponding motherboard. It would probably end up costing about the same as a console,but,much more flexibility being a pc and all. Learning to play with a mouse and keyboard took a bit of practice though.

I have no problem with mouse and KB, as I used to play some counter strike back in the day. I doubt it will take me more than a day or two to become fluid again.
