Does anyone else feel like it's harder to get a higher spm in BF4?

I feel like it should be easier than BF3 since they upped the points for pretty much everything and have better scoring for assists and capping flags and whatnot.

But in reality I don't seem to be doing as well spm wise as in BF3 despite being miles better at BF4. I get more kills and cap more flags than I would in BF3 but have pretty shitty spm by BF3 standards.

Anybody else feel this way? What are your guys' thoughts on this?

i went 3000 in one match, then 2000, then 2200. my SPM is 86 Sad

We haven't really started getting medals and service stars yet. 2,000/10,000 points every few matches makes an insane difference.

Ah yeah I never thought of that. Plus it seems to take forever to claw your way up from a crappy start.

Once I got the hang of the beta I've been constantly scoring around 400+ SPM but my stats only put me at 262 SPM

What are your guys skill stats looking like? Mine is 200 right now.

Broke 300 overall SPM, not too long ago. Currently sitting at 320.

I think I can manage close to 500 once I start unlocking more stuff, especially motion sensor for Recon (as it should give automatic score boost if thrown in highly contested area).

I'm at 293 skill, 306 SPM, and 2.42 KDR. 64% wins.

MVP and Victory ribbons aren't worth 500 anymore. Dunno about Combat Efficiency. Those three and their respective medals probably made up half my SPM in BF3.

Ah I never noticed that they lowered the score on some ribbons.

What did they drop it down to do you know?

Yep. All 200 now it seems.
I also haven't seen anything for 2nd or 3rd place, maybe I missed it though.

Anyone noticed that Battlelog will show you different scores for the round than what you actually got in game? 360 at least. It isn't off by much, just a few points it seems.
