Good graphics card to use with Adobe CS6?

Siren is going to be getting a computer soon, to work mostly with photoshop and some video editing. The PC has an i7 2600k, and decent amounts of RAM and storage space. The only thing needing upgrading would be a GPU. I was tihnking something in line with a GTX 560, but I'd rather have you guys help me out. Anyone know what would be best here?

As to budget, lets stay as low as possible for a good one. She's gonna be paying ~580$ for Adobe Production Premium perp. license, so I'm trying to help her cut cost.

I hate to tell you this, but she is probably really just getting the computer for porn. The Photoshop is just a cover story.

Just set a budget and buy one in that range. Since professional cards are a no-no (expensive), maybe it would be better to get an AMD card with at least 1 GB of GDDR5 RAM. Just check reviews on some models and their performance with adobe.

She should be able to get the adobe premier suite for much cheaper than that, I got mine for ~330. And you know me, for anything design related I say go mac all the way. Our whole graphics building is mac and it's amazing.

no dice on the mac. My dad is giving her his lab assistant's desktop, all it needs is a graphics card.

Hmm. That could be the difference, I got the Design Suite. So like Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dreamweaver. I know theres more on there, I just never ever use them. And has she talked to Kendarp? I'm pretty sure she is doing the exact same thing next year.
