BF4 - New China Rising weapons and gadgets in action

the UCAV looks like a lot of fun.

I wonder how hard it is to shoot down the SUAV. I forsee a lot of MAV type roadkilling.

damn I was hoping for the AN94 but mtar mp7 and rpk look good,probably stronger since rpk is 7.62x39

Nice! Two of my favorite weapons are coming back(L85A2 and the L96) Kind of an odd choice I think for them to bring back the RPK though, didn't see if it was the RPK-47 or the RPK-74. The former is chambered for the original round that Mikhail Kalashnikov designed the AK-47 for the 7.62x39 as opposed to the latter which is chambered for the high velocity .22-ish caliber 5.45x39 round.

Some extra stopping power would be a nice change of pace if it is indeed the 1947 version of the RPK.

EDIT: Just watched it again, yeah it's the RPK-74m sadly. Which essentially this looks like a re-skin of the RPK-12 since I imagine the stats are almost identical

it's already been confirmed the rpk-74 is going to be 7.62. You can even tell by looking at the magazine.

can the stuff already be unlocked? I almost had enough to unlock the mtar last round,I guess premium people can unlock it early? Or is everybody getting the weapons?

Some people are able to unlock them, but they re-lock the next round.

I just got the mtar,it's ok....I still prefer the ACW

edit: It's the next round and I still have it. I heard they're adding in f2000, an94 etc

That makes no sense, maybe it's a name glitch then. Because that's the RPK-47 not the RPK-74m, odd to say the least, but also very heartening to hear. I'm glad we're getting more rifles chambered in that round, now all we need is the classic AK47 and then I'll be mega happy

The steel ribbed magazines have been used in both AK's if I recall, though it's difficult to tell at the angle, 7.62x39 variants have a little more curvature to the magazine as opposed to the ones that accept the 5.45x39 are a little less. I do remember reading somewhere that they switched to a polymer steel hybrid and added the "ribbing" to the frontal spine of the magazine to help make it easier to distinguish from the the older AK mags, this also rendered them useless to the older 7.62 AK's since they wouldn't seat properly even if a soldier didn't know the difference.
