he was pretty old for a cat, about 17. Was a tuxedo cat named Socks....I cried alot...buried him earlier, kinda feel at peace now

Yeah, we just had to bury one that was 16 years old about 3 weeks ago. All told we have had to bury about 10 cats this year, 4 of them were inside cats. It never gets easier.

I have become strangely attached to our cats and will not be happy when they die.
My plan is to give them away to little kids just before they die, sparing me the trauma.
