[FO:NV] What weapons do you use?

What I use most of the time:

Laser RCW + Recycler
I converted all my ammo into over charge ammo so it's pretty powerful despite my energy weapons skill being in the low 30s.

Maria
It's a stronger 9mm pistol you get from Benny. I was sad when I found out I couldn't use 9mm pistol mods on it but whatever.

Cowboy Repeater
This thing is so fucking powerful that there's no reason not to use it.

Assault Carbine + Extended Magazine
I only use armor-piercing ammo with this piece of shit because it's so weak without it. It's basically outclassed by my Laser RCW and ammo is harder to come by so I hardly use it any more.

Varmint Rifle + Night Scope + Silencer + Extended Magazine
You would think that with all those mods they would at least include one that makes the weapon not suck. It does less damage than my pistol so I only use it to get sneak attacks on really weak enemies.

Anti-Materiel Rifle
Armor piercing ammo all the fucking way. Whenever I find an enemy that's too strong for my other weapons I pull this bad boy out and send them straight to hell.

Cowboy repeater, flame thrower, that gun, and my .44 magnum.

This Gun : An M1 Garand = love.

I wish I knew where to find mods for the weapons I actually use. I just went back to Gun Runners and they have some pretty badass stuff now like a marksman carbine, light machine gun, and some other rifle that looked really powerful

I haven't gotten far enough, so I'm stuck with the varmint rifle, the 9MM pistol, a silenced .22, and a .20 gauge shotgun as my main weapons. :/

How did you get the Maria from Benny? I had him

I still haven't found a good shotgun. I saw a riot shotgun at the gun runners that looked like the combat shotgun in fallout 3, too bad it was like 8000 caps or i might have tried it out.

What do you get after you bring Isaac a bunch of scrap metal for the guy at Camp McCarren? It better be something good because you need a shitload of scrap metal.

Single shotgun and Caravan shotgun are a couple examples of .20 gauge shotguns. I swear I see a silenced .22 at every vendor ever.

Is that gun actually worse than a varmint rifle? I didn't think anything could be that bad.

VR has range That Gun is all power.

I just got maria last night and I love it. I also patrolled around in bennys suit for a few hours. Ha screw the bastard, I used him for info, then turned him into gibs!

When I fought him, my final blow with the machete cut his head off.

I took him out with a slab of concrete to the back of the head.

Im doing an almost pure gun game (except for benny, felt like having some fun with him) so Im using

CQB
Assault carbine
Hunting shotgun

Med. range
That machine (the m1 garand) and when I get my gun skill up a bit more the marksman carbine

Long range/deathclaws
Sniper rifle

And for stealthy sneak attacks
Ratslayer (unique varmint rifle, it has all the mods on it to begin with)

And if I dont plan on picking up a bunch of stuff, I take along a grenade machine gun or w.e its called.

I found a multiplas rifle that really makes me want to raise my energy weapons skill. Even at less than 25% condition and with my low skill it does 21x3 damage. Probably a big ammo waster but if it's that strong I don't care.
