Uh, yeah I watched JaRussell play at LSU and even then he was average. He was drafted on his potential but stayed the same player he always was.

I don't pretend to know a lot about Shanahan, but he's not looking so 'genius' anymore. I'm baffled that he hired Jim Haslett, who was run out of New Orleans and then St Louis for lackluster coaching. Then this McNabb thing. This morning on Mike and Mike someone made the comment that Shanahan really has his career made by John Elway. Then I read an interesting article today about Jake Plummer, who has retired from football. He said the same thing...that Shanahan is totally obsessed with trying to either find or create the next John Elway.

Anyway, the dude has 2 rings so whatever.
