Randy Moss. FUTURE?

Hear me out on this as i'm a pats fan seeing as i'm a new englander.

I just got done reading the local paper about his demise in leaving the vikings after merely a month. In discussing this with my co-worker/friend, we came across an idea or thought as to potential happenings.

What if and i say IF. The pats got rid of randy to get a 3rd round draft pick, deon branch. However they pre-planned randys "episode" so he'd continue his bad attitude so no team would really want him. He settles for less money from the pats after 30 teams pass on signing him/he himself passes on signing with anyone.

Now he's back on a team that he himself and i quote "loved playing for the pats" and "coach bellichec is the greatest coach ever". Now he's back on the pats he's no longer double covered because he's got welker and branch to help. He'll be making less money under contract but still an astronomical amount and he'll be feasibly making more touchdowns and more receptions due to having a somewhat deep threat to help "Branch".

It's a wild idea and a dirty one if the pats get him back. BUT it would NOT suprise me.

I wouldn't be surprised by any of this AT ALL.

Belicheck is a savvy dude.

Even bellichec was asked at a press conference about re-signing MOSS.

To which he grinned and said "your not gonna bait me into discussing it."

Of course the pats have to wait for every other team to offer moss a contract before they can. But i'm guessing it's all been pre-planned and moss will decline every offer but the pats!

I'm not clear on how waivers works but can he decline?

Your not forced to do anything you don't want to. Be it the NFL or anything else. That's illegal, if he doesn't wanna accept an offer he has that right. Unless the team is buying his contract?! which then he's forced to remain on whatever team purchases it for the remainder of the said contract.

Someone will pick him up. Maybe the Dallas Cowboys

With waivers, Moss has no choice. If he is picked-up, the team that gets him also has his contract, and pay 3.38M for it. If the Bills claim him off waivers, he is a Bill. He can make a decision after all 32 teams pass him on waivers. In that case, the Vikes pay him 3.38M, and he goes to a team of he choosing.

I'm blushing here. I like Adam Schefter and follow alot of his blogs.

Adam Schefter is the ****ing man. I love that guy.

I follow Adam Sandler and watch a lot of his movies.

I read a lot of stuff online, and I mean ALOT. I read John Clayton and Schefter the most, on top of watching SC, the usual gameday shows. I get alot of opinions and facts, and then form my own. The only other guy I really follow is Kevin Seifert, the NFC North blogger, hence why I know alot of weird stuff out if that division. Did you Merriman getting waived yesterday? Where he ends up could be a big impact to that team.

Not quite but they have a bye this week and he's expected to be ready for their next game on 11/14

Cris Carter called in to Mike and Mike this morning and went off for about 5 minutes straight about his experiences with Randy Moss. It was incredible. The way he told this 'story' was really funny and seemingly really insightful. It was a rant. He didn't seem to have an angle. He just layed it all out there, the good and the bad. I highly recommend going to the ESPN radio website or googling it.

Yeah I heard it also. I thought it was a really good listen. It was brief, but honest and too the point.

LOL at the coke and hot tamales story. As much as I dislike Moss currently for the catering situation that story was a bit heartwarming to me.
