Anyone gonna prestige?

I wasn't planning on it, but the gold camo has almost changed my mind. How about you guys?

I am. I want those extra class slots.

I am going to as well. Custom Class slots is something I need plus I would like to rank up and see more things popping up rather than getting bored of never unlocking anything.

I don't think I'll have any choice.

Of course I will. Thats all part of the game.

Iono, I'm just feeling like I want to sit at 50 and just buy everything. If you could unlock any gun whenever, I would. But having to unlock then buy is just annoying

I always say I don't and then I never do. I did it once for the prestige challenges in MW2, 4 times in CoD4 to join the Umbrella Corporation and I think 4 times in WaW because the MP40/Juggernaut were unlocked so early on.

I do too Bob. I actually might not this time. In 4 I got to 10th, in WaW I was at like 3rd, and maybe 5th in MW2. It's not really worth it honestly. Especially in this one where you have to buy everything

Seriously, white-knighting in a game and not-using whatevers' overused because it's broken doesn't earn you any cool points.

And I usually had enough play time to easily be 10th prestige, I just didn't bother going for it.

No, I never used the MP40, other than my first Prestige up to the challenges, then I was done.

Because using the weapon makes you good at the game right? It means more than what you think it means; people that use OP weapons generally display personality traits that are undesirable. It shows what kind of person you are, really. If you like using OP weapons, it means that you don't care if you ruin something for everybody else, just for your own personal gain, which shows greed, and selfishness. I have no respect for people that do that. I don't care if anybody else thinks that I'm any better for not, becasue I know that it proves that I'm not a complete asshole who isn't considerate of what other people think/feel. That's the kind of person who would get a job, and do nothing but talk on their cell phone all day, while other people do all the work, but that's okay, they get fired eventually.

For instance, in BC2, I tried to use the worse weapon in the game, pump shotguns and the pistol. Then I found out pump-shotguns with slugs are OP, then I tried the AEK, but that's OP, along with the Grach, so towards the end, I was using the T88 with an M9 as a medic, and the F2000 and M9 without Magnum Ammo as assault.

If everyone's out using overpowered guns and ruining the fun of the game for others, one more is just a drop in the ocean.


And none of the guns you listed are actually overpowered Bob, but whatever. I'm done convincing you to play Battlefield since you obviously don't enjoy Battlefield games.

Well then there's a lot more matches out there then trees, because nobody uses anything apart from the AN94, M416, M16A2, M60 or MG3.

I will once to unlock prestige mode and challenges etc... probably not more than that though.

I may or may not prestige. Other than custom class slots, I don't really know what prestiging gives me. I'm only level 16 right now, so it's really not something I've given much thought.
Anyway, I made it to prestige 4 in CoD4, and In MW2. Never even made it to level 65 (or whatever it was) in WaW.

Prestiging is basically a way to keep you from getting bored.

It's not been hard to unlock anything. Hell I'm already close to 50 and I've only had the game a week.

I will, mainly to get the extra custom class slots. I like having 2 classes set up for each weapon type(2 assault, 2 smg, etc...).

I just prestiged yesterday.

Never Prestiged in COD4....whats the point? That and Red Tiger R700 was boss. and I ain't doing that again.

MW2.....did it for the lulz and see how fast I could get to max rank off of only challenges. FUCKING FAST!

I used the Thompson in W@W becuase......I did.
