I have a prestige question.

A question for those of you that have prestiged already.

Do all the challenges reset to zero?

I have several that are about to roll over and give me 5000-7500 points. I don't want to finish them if I can carry them over to 1st prestige, then finish them so I rank up much faster. If they don't carry over then I might as well get them and clear rank 49 in just a couple matches.

I have a few gun kills/headshot ones that are about ready. Several attachment ones that are close etc...

If some stay and some reset please let me know which ones. After I prestige I'll want my Commando back as soon as possible.

All of them? After I posted this I found another forum post that said veteran gun kills don't reset... it's not specific on what that means though.

The total kills you have had with everything and prestige challenges.

Uuuhhh... So if I only need 3 more kills with the Mac-11 can I stop using it for now, then after I prestige kill 3 more people with it to get the 7500 points then?

No those challenges are reset the kills I said it keeps track of are the ones in combat record.

Well shit!

They only thing that doesn't reset is your clan tag(I think), your playercard, and your combat record stats.

All challenges reset to my knowledge.

I'll make a separate topic about it, but you both were wrong. The Lifetime challenges do not reset.

Had I known this before I prestiged I would have held off on about 20,000 points worth of challenges so I could get them after I prestiged to help level up.

As it was I still got 2 of the challenges my very first match after prestiging. I don't remember how many thousands of points I got, but after 1 (partial) free-for-all game I went from Prestige 1 to Prestige 7.
Ha! Instantly skipped 7 levels.
