Every page I go to on the speakeasy today gives me a "Malware blocked" popup from my virus scanner thingy.

Anyone else have this happening? Epyk have we been invaded by some ad-bot thing or is it just on my end?

Can I ask what type of virus scanner you are using?

The one that keeps blocking stuff is actually Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. It works really well, but it doesn't like something on here today...

You really do not need things that scan while you browse the web anymore. Also I would suggest checking out microsofts free security software.

Um, why? I mean browsers have gotten more secure but it's still really easy to get a virus from a website. Especially if you're into hardcore porn.

And I agree with Greg, Kaspersky is the best. That's what I would use if I used Windows.

I'm not having a problem. There's just something trying to get into my computer from this site, mine is just set up to tell you when it blocks something from getting you.

I haven't noticed any evil pop up blocking, but the site runs -really- slow for me sometimes. I thought it wasn't even going to load this morning, and I have wicked fast internet.

Hmmm no problems on my end with seeing the site. Either from work or from home.

I had no trouble using or seeing the site. It was just that some pages on here I went to I would get a "a Malicious attack was blocked from this website" notification from my anti-malware scanner.

It's not doing it today though

The site being slow is probably the server side of where this site's Server is located. I have hosted my own website and AcId owns his own. AcId's site has always been slow. I don't know if this site has a limit on megs or anything. Some sites do that for the bandwidth they have to conserve for others.

Malwarebytes is a good program to be free. I would suggest Norton Internet Security, i have had Norton Internet Security for 5 years now. I have been virus free for 5 years. I have one maleware that never leaves. But, it is because of internet explorer. It will always be there. Free is decent, but paying makes all the difference.

Viruses and Malware mostly come from porn. I am just saying... lol But, Malware and spyware will always be there. Internet Explorer is considered Spyware. It is the crappiest and slowest web browser you can use. If you are using it. Switch to Firefox, Google Chrome or any other browser related to these two. You will surf/browse the internet 2x faster no matter the performance of your PC. In order to really help you, Omni. I would have to know what sites you go to. You can admit porn. I have looked it up to and use to all the time. But, you just have to tell me. What type of OS are you using?
