BF3 Issues... again

So every time I hop on to play MP on BF3 it tells me that my player profile has been corrupted. I have to reset my brightness and so on all over again. Pretty much I just have to spam the A button while it tells me I've been activated and have my Karkand pack and what not.

Anyone else had this problem?

Maybe I need to get on this battlelog.net thing.

I had this happen to me once about a week after the game came out. I was right at the end of the campaign too.... Hasn't happened since, and I have no idea what caused it. :/

It started a couple days ago and happens every time I turned the damn game on. At first I was afraid I would lose everything, but I still have all my stats and unlocks and levels and what not.

Its just effing annoying.

One of my friends was having that problem, I think it corrected itself a few days ago.

Try installing the game to your hard drive.

Its a hard drive issue. It happens to me as well; resets all my classes every time i turn my xbox off. it was the same with bc2

It is installed to my HD. Maybe that's what started the problem. I'll try uninstalling it or something. Though I don't think it happened right after I installed it. Since I did that a while ago and this is a new thing.

Happened to a buddy. He uninstalled from his harddrive, then re-installed and it was fine.

I've heard about alot of people having this problem,I haven't even played the story mode which is maybe why I haven't encountered it

I notice randomly my classes get reset >___> sometimes on the base guns,I swear it's happened on other ones though.

like,I'll set the mp443 grach tactical as my pistol and it keeps switching to the m9 .even though it'll let me switch back to it in the middle of the game in the menu.bleh.I wish they would let you customize both sides and not just the americans in the menu

Uninstalling and reinstalling didn't work. Annoying as hell. But it hasn't stopped me from playing any thats for sure.

Are you installing the texture pack first, then exiting to the dashboard and then installing the game? If you do it in the opposite order it causes issues.

Have you played single player? Something about SP can cause a corrupted file glitch.

1. Go to your Xbox Dashboard
2. Go to System Settings
3. Select Memory. Select your hard drive.
4. Go to Games
5. Select Battlefield 3
6. Select the "Profile Save Data"
7. Delete It! ONLY THE PROFILE SAVE DATA, NOTHING ELSE!

You'll lose your Campaign storyline (as long as you have the achievements you should have nothing to worry about), but you WON'T lose all your Multiplayer Unlocks.

Follow the steps correctly, and you should have no more problems.

I just installed the game. I haven't played any of the campaign.

The campaign duisk has a texture pack that you install that will improve the look of the game, nit sure if it will fix your kit issue tho.

What? When you put in the game the first time it asks you "would you like to install the HD texture pack now?" (or something like that).

If you didn't do it then you're basically playing the game with crippled graphics.

1. Follow the instructions I posted above to fix your corrupted profile.
2. Then un-install the game (again).
3. Start the game without installing anything.
4. Choose to install the texture pack when it prompts you.
5. When that's done, exit to dashboard.
6. Install the game disc to your harddrive.
7. Give Metal hugs, kisses and ***** all night long!

I've never even put the single playet disc in... Hmmm. Ok. I will do this nao.

So far I have recieved no prompts to install a texture pack. Is it on disc 1 or 2?

Mine was on the MP disc (the only disc I've ever put in or installed.

Maybe you already have it installed so it isn't asking again? Or maybe if you say no the first time it never asks you again?

I'm not sure...

I dunno. I tried both of them and got no prompt. I don't remember ever being asked about it and it doesn't show up under the game on my hard drive. Either way deleting the profile save and stuff fixed the issue. Graphics are good enough for me. Thanks Metal.
