I wish people would learn to tell me the correct date/time for things.

I get all psyched to go coyote hunting and house sitting, only to find out that they looked at the calender wrong, and it actually was NEXT weekend. -_-

One of my friends booked a wrong month of the hotel date when we went on a trip to Germany. I slapped him pretty hard

That would suck. Show up, only to find out that the hotel wasn't even booked right. I would've been pissed. How'd that go?

Yeah, but I bet you still were pretty angry. How'd that occur anyways? Did they book the hotel online, and accidently scroll to the wrong month or something?

He booked it online

It was the first time he made that kind of mistake, so we did not expect it to happen at all.

Lol, well, at least it was a first time (not like it had happened before). It's always good to forgive your friends.

I have a pet peeve about people telling me to be somewhere or show up a time to meet them there, and then they are late. For example, if someone says, "I'll be there at 10:00", they should be there between 9:55 and 10:05. When people show up 20 minutes later, and say something like, "Well, I had to do this and that, then I had to go to the bathroom, then the car wouldn't start" I want to punch them. Why can't they just say, or even call me, and tell me, "Hey, I'm going to be a little late" then I wouldn't care, but it's when they specifically tell me that they will be there, show up 30 minutes later, give me a list of excuses, and don't even apologize, that drives me crazy. I can feel my blood pressure escalating thinking about it. I usually just smile and say, "It's alright" because I'm too nice. : /

My usual mentality is that if someone tells you that the extraction is ETA 20 minutes, then you better be there in 20 min or the extraction team is pulling out. LoL

Lol, well, I guess once you learn something well, it kinda stays with you. I guess the military trained you really well.

My family has always been really strict about time; when they say "I'm coming at 5:00", they mean it.

You would hate my dad then, lol, he does that stuff all the time.

I blame it on his age.

My Mimaw(grandma on dads side) was always late. So we would tell her to be there at say 9 even though we wouldn't plan on leaving till 9:30 or whatever.
