Is there anything you can miss out on if you do the quest to kill benny/talk to house? Any reason not to do those quests for a while?

The only thing that would prevent you to finish up the quest as fast as you want to, is to MESS UP LEGION, and wait for the forgiveness afterwards.

Even if you killed every single member of Legion out of Fort prior, you are forgiven.

Besides that, there is nothing you are missing.
