The fight is on!

So, me and my GF live in a house that was split into three appartments. one upstairs, two downstairs (one empty downstairs). well the guy who lives upstairs from us has a BIG stereo and TV, and he likes to use them. Problem is the shit is soo loud sometimes I can't even hear the TV! even on a good day I can still hear the guy. Anyway, we have been fighting this prick for about 6 months about the noise level, and everything came to a head this weekend. I, a man who is terrified of cops, had to call them into my house 3 times this weekend! Needless to say I want to shoot the guy .

Uggg that sucks!!! Good luck with that though because land lords can only do so much. Really the only thing you can do is call the cops and even then there is only so much they can do. Hopefully if there is aenough documentation the landlord can evict.

That's pretty bad. Maybe you could move to the downstairs unit! That way you can have a buffer. Unless it is a sucky unit. Why hasn't your landlord done anything about this problem?

And why are you afraid of cops, if you don't mind me asking?

the landlords are some sweet old people. Very nice, too nice even. So they are trying to get him to leave on his own, and thats been talked about for about 4 months.

we live downstairs, and he lives in the upstairs, besides there is no escaping his kind of noise.

and I'm afraid of cops because I am a baaaaad little boy . also I like to smoke pot from time to time.
