Vikings to L.A?

Now this is purely speculatory but hear me out.

The Vikings have been pushing fo a new stadium for about 5 years now. They want the city/state to pay for the stadium, and of course the city wants nothing to do with it. it was discussed to have the Vikings share the stadium with either the twins or the U of Minn, but they BOTH have new stadiums, niether of wich will suit a NFL team. Now the Metrodome collapses, and I don't suppose they will want to keep playing in a stadium that has already had big problem. The NFL has been trying to get a team back in LA for quite a while now and this might be their best chance.

I think the powers that be in Minnesota will cave and do what it takes to keep the team there.

I hope so D. I would have to find a new team! I can't root for a LA team.

This is just something I have been thinking about, and I deemed it possible. At least enough to submit it to you guys to see what you think.

You scenerio is totally possible. I'd hate to see it happen though since the Vikes are pretty much a landmark franchise imo.

They play in a dome so snow is a non factor for the vikings anymore.

Right, but the idea of a "Viking" should be in rough conditions. Maybe the concrete jungle could be considered rough conditions.

Mehhhh The packers do not play in a dome.... THe vikings are wimps..

And like all Football teams that go to L.A. they return from wich they came.
