The Official Kingdom Hearts Thread

Well, as the title suggests, this is the official Kingdom Hearts thread of the SeC made by me, Teh Lovin.

The Kingdom Hearts series is my personal favorite video game series there is. I started playing the first game when I was about 7 or 8 and have fallen in love with it ever since.

The point of this thread is for people to talk about their KH experiances, love for the series, learn about the series or just post things from the games such as Music, Battles, cutscenes etc.

I hear wispers of a new game, is it coming to ps3?

Hopefully they'll announce it soon. Like Elder Scrolls i jumped for joy when i heard that. and can you play kh 1 and 2 on ps3? I have backwards compatible one.

kingdom hearts 2 boss music was really epic. too bad it was easier than the first game

I loved 1 and 2, but it looked like the series jumped the shark after that. Am I wrong? I really haven't seen anything since 2.

Well, Re:Coded comes out 1/11/11 (sweet date) and 3D comes out not too long after the 3DS hits the shelves.

Though I assume you're talking about what would be Kingdom Hearts 3. They (Nomura, the lead developer, and of course Square Enix) have not officially announced that it is in development yet and won't be until they're all done with FF13 Versus. As for it being for the PS3, nobody knows. Yet. Personally, I foresee(?) it being released on both PS3 and Xbox. If however, if it is a PS3 exclusive, I have some money saved up and will go out and buy a PS3 just for it.

KH: Coded is another port like Chain or memories was to PS2, the original was a mobile phone game that was only released in japan (i think). I love KH and wish they would just get to putting out 3 already, but Birth by Sleep was fun. Its just a shame that FF fanboys don't appreciate the game for what it is. I lurk on some GFQ boards for FF and some of those guys drive me nuts. Just go to the Dissidia 2 boards to see what I mean.
