so i slapped it and it stopped. bitch knows whos boss Very Happy

that was happening to my computer then after trying to slap it a couple times a kicked it stopped for a little then i just repeated the process until it got too annoying and i turned it off for like an hour

yeah. it stops whenever i slap it but its getting annoying.

its a fast PC though so i dont mind. id prefer it to a slow quiet one.

thats like my xbox. Whenever i play black ops or any game i havent downloaded to the harddrive, it growls at me. its really flippin annoying/loud!

^ yeah, i always install my most played games onto the HDD.

BC2, fable 3, just cause etc. then i just uninstall them when i stop playing them so much.

I've had that problem before and a slap always fixed it. It turned out to be a fan.

I say you just remove the fan. Overheat shmoverheat who gives a fuck. I'm sure popping open the box and throwing a couple ice cubes in there every once and a while will suffice.

That's awesome - kicking the machine is my answer to all computer issues. My boss actually slapped the monitor at work when it was screwing up, and it started working again. I laughed so hard, he was so giddy about it.

Maybe you need to replace a case/cpu fan? Unless that's your HDD then it's dying.

Haha this reminds me of once when my friend's xbox kept on overheating. We filled up a bunch of ziplocks with ice and put them in a tray, and then put the xbox on them. One of the bags burst... and then the xbox sunk into the pool of water. It fried. My friend wasnt too happy, especially because it was my idea.

yeah its just the casing on the front of the tower. the insides are all good.
