If you buy DLC and your xbox dies, forcing you to buy a new one, can you get your DLC back for free if you are still using the same GT?

I believe the dlc is tied into your xbox live account, you just have to redownload it.

True but also everything you buy from marketplace is tied into your console aswel so if you do a license transfer you can have all of your DLC (even if it wasen't for that GT) But you have to be online to access that if it wasen't from your GT i believe. I know it's something like that.

You have to use the transfer tool here. It's a very simple and painless process. though you will need to re download everything you wish to use. but it will be free.

Ahh. Ok, thank you!

My xbox is fine, just wondering since I'm debating buying the disk collection Undead RDR or the DLC version.
