In my opinion, get a 680/7970, or wait for the 700 series and then SLI it.

It seems so easy though.....

I know there are some games that can be a bitch with SLI

But I can get a second 580 for 200 bucks on Ebay right now.....

if you really want to Razz if you don't end up liking SLI you could probably sell it

Im thinking in terms of raw power here

I think Ill wait and see how my temps are on a properly functioning 580

The question is do you need the raw power. SLI can have a lot of issues (like heat, noise, game incompatibility, micro-stuttering), but it offers unparalleled performance for the price.

Im gonna need it soon

With Metro Last Light coming out Im gonna need some more juice

fuck it Cool haha afro afro

heat might be the only problem.

I've heard of the horror stories online off sli/crossfire,but people who seem to use sli/crossfire online never seem to complain,so I don't think it's that bad. I remember you said you have a big power supply so that shouldn't be an issue, just if the cards get very hot like your old one lol

Ill probably wait till my RMA 580 comes back to see how cool it stays before deciding if Ill SLI or not
