I got a lag demon in my machine.

I just played a round of Nelson Bay Conquest (fucking love that map!), and I spawned at the beginning of the match as a Russian. I ride the parachute toward A, and when I hit the ground I start sprinting to cap the flag.
I ran toward that flag for almost a full minute. I kept "skipping" back 10 meters, five meters, etc... six skips in a row. It felt like a bad dream, where I'm running toward something and it just keeps getting further and further away.
Anyway, I reach it eventually and cap it with my teammates right behind me.

Then later on in the game, a Medic starts spraying his SAW or MG3 or something at me (don't know, but it had a high RoF). He couldn't hit me for shit. I turn and hipfire at him and he's dead almost instantly. The first time I can say that lag worked in my favor.

Unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky for the rest of the match. I was using a 4x scope'd AUG, and I was burst firing at people from across the map. Usually not an issue, but I wasn't getting hit markers. Then suddenly, I would die from an M416, even though I heard no gunfire, and saw no blood.

Lag is fucking annoying. I wish they could fix the issue for good.
Anyone else get hit with spurts of lag recently?

I have a regional Internet service problem going on, which will only be fixed in a few weeks. I want to strangle the manager of my local ISP.

That sucks.

I can't wait until I move out in a month or so. I'll have a much better connection to work with. Right now I've got DSL, and every once in a while, it really cramps my gaming.

I had on going problem since 2 months ago, however the problem was not acknowledged and the ISP treated by like a liar.

The main hub that handle my region's connection cannot handle the demand, and the problem was not apparent to them (though I have let them know multiple times, and considering me as a liar) since many people were on vacation away from my region. So when they all came back from vacation, since summer is over, the connection craps out when high demand is reached.

If they had fixed the problem 2 months ago, or at least started then, it would not be this bad now.

So this is why you're not on much storm. That's stupid. I hate when people(or companies)call you a liar just cause they think they cant be their fault at all.

I hate to tell you guys this, but I almost never have lag issues.

Back during the massive server lag and lag complaint topics on Gfaqs I was one of those people that had almost zero lag problems. Not sure why. Maybe just my location?

I think it is a location thing. I had godawful lag for the longest time, until they fixed it in May (or whenever they fixed it, I can't remember).

I have lag whenever my gf gets on the computer.

My favorite /sarcasm has to be when i'm lineing up a shot on a guy and he slides~backwards/dis-afrigginppears, and shows up 1 second later 30' away and kills you. AWESOME! *thumbs up and winks.
