I never really thought about it until few days ago that someone mentioned that my mic is extremely loud.

Your mic isn't that loud; it's about normal. I used to yell when I had TB's on accident, because I couldn't hear myself; I'm a lot better about it now that I have my normal headset. I hate it when people have quiet mics though; I can always turn the mic down enough, but I can't always turn it up enough.

Zilla usually echoes. I think it is because he uses loud surround sound. Just maybe.

Yea I turn my surround sound down when I join a party. SOmetimes I feel like not joining because I want to feel my body shake HAHA

I have to use that to talk to people now, because my mic in my TB's broke. I won't be able to afford another pair, because I want Black Ops, so that's where my housesitting money will go towards. I get to chose: be able to record and hear well, or talk to my friends. Talk to my friends is much more important to me, so I chose that.

Standard mic has always worked fine for me. Doesn't fit my head just right though.

I'm using a generic mic too.

Only thing is the bit that wraps around your dome broke off so I'm using a belt.

Yeah, I'm using half a mic secured to my head via leather strip. WHAT

I got one of those xbox wireless mics. It's nice, and I can understand people better with it than I could with the standard mic. Sometimes people would talk too loud and sound fuzzy, but I can hear them just fine with this thing.

The only downside is that it runs out of batteries as a surprise (since it's on my ear I can't see the battery light), and when it's out of juice I have to recharge it. I can't use it while it recharges.
