Finally products that can compete with the ipad are coming out this year Like the Xoom, playbook, and ipad 2.

My dad has an Ipad, theyre pretty fun to use. Any idea on what the iPad 2 is going to have?

im guessing camera, more processing power, slightly thinner... i cant really think of how else they could upgrade it

Well dual core means better but do not except something like core 2 duo power but more along the lines of atom dual core. Also nividia is being a b&$#* and is going to release a quad-core this fall. Also if you do get a android tablet anything without honeycomb sucks.

hmmm, i think all tablet's need to be able to run flash on web browsers, and be able to run more than one app at a time.

Well that first part will not happen anytime soon apple (they hate flash) and everything can already do the second part. (there was an update for the ipad a while back that allowed it. Just double tap the home button)

I think the way applications run should really be more like a computer than an iPod touch. its a bit clunky and slow at the moment, having to press the home button every time to open a new app.

Well, you got me on the portable part. The touch screen however, that falls into the same catagory as 3D movies for me. As in another cheap gimmick so the company can charge you more money.

Have you tried an ipad or any good touchscreen? It is amazing at least to me. (3d on the other hand sucks)

Nope. Id much prefer to have a nice netbook. between my phone and computer, it would ne pointless.
