Kinda spit balling here.

What if I design t-shirts/hats/other items using a yet uncreated SeC logo/logos.
Once you get a reasonable amount of cred (remeber IM PAYING for what ever you get.) You choose what you like. And I figure out a way to get it mailed to you, with out me needing any of your information. ( Ill have to look into that part)

I can also set up a shop page that you can just buy something if you like. It will be ran through cafepress.com so it will be secure.

Thoughts?

If its a welcomed idea, I would have to change the way cred is accumulated, and post would be more closely watched for spamming...(Again everythings outta my pocket)

Spam in this case would be one word posts.

And its not like you guys are going to be able to turn in cred for something every other day. I'd say something along the lines of 3500-4000 cred = a shirt

And shirts are like $6 so...
I know that may seem like a lot of cred, but frost would clean my ass out. on one hand I want to offer some realworld application to awesome cred with out going broke.

We maybe able to find a paypal type service that allows online transactions with out use of needing to know each others information.

I like the idea of SeC merc. I'm not overly found of linking merc to the Awesome Cred, you could end up bankrupting yourself, end up with GFQ type modding, or stuff people want and will never get. You could fall on tough times and not be able to front the money. Also keep in mind, when you make the shirts, you may have to order so many (maybe 100) just to place an order to start. Unless you have a way of doing it yourself.

with cafepress you just design them, then if they are bought they make it and ship it out in two business days.

thats a good point with cred...its just really hard to find something to do with it...
as its going this may turn out to be a bust...but im probably still going to make a shirt design for myself at some point ill link the site for anyone interested when i do

Having the merch is a great idea, you could have some of the running gags, or things that say *facepalm* (imagine wearing that when you go christmas shaopping). Having a place to buy them on the forum at cost plus shipping, or a buck or two above cost might better on a whole. You will find something to do with the awesome cred, but you might have to reset everybody's when you do.

All graphics would have to be personally made, or I will be owning a shit ton of money for copyrite infringement, so if you've got stuff that you made from scratch with nothing off the internet, we can use it.

ill look in to the exact costs of every thing. If I can get a discount for being creator then we will go that way to save everyone money if they want to buy one.

I know I'm getting a shirt, maybe a hat....and a personalized SeC coffee mug...
