Those that are getting the game first day, what are you planning to play first? SP or MP?

I always play through the singleplayer before I play the multiplayer because I worry about getting spoiled on the plot. Since I don't go to GFAQS anymore I shouldn't have to worry about some asshole ruining it so I am thinking that I will play the multiplayer with those of you that are going to get it on the first day.

Yeah, I plan to do the first 20 minutes or so when I get it.

On games I buy primarily for the MP often I won't even play the Sp.

MW2, Blops, Reach, BC2 etc... I didn't finish Sp for any of those. Some I never played more than the first level. It really didn't even matter to me that they even had SP.

Mw2 campaign was pretty fun.

ill be honest... i never finished the BC2 campaign.

I just really dont have as much fun killing AI as i do killing people in MP.

Always SP first. Helps the control system sink in before playing with other humans.

Just remembered I won't be playing this at home at first... My brother might want to play SP first.

SP first then MP when the americans catch up (yay for being six hours ahead )

I thought you didn't get it until the 17th or 18th? It comes out day after tomorrow here (15th).

its released on the 18th here, but the american players only get on at 11pm+ my time, so ill have a while until DL gets online, so ill play SP and join him online at 11pm+

Single player first. So I can kind of pick out what guns I like, get the controls and learn the plot.


Also BC2 campaign SUCKED. Has to be the worst singleplayer in any recent game Ive played....

There really wasn;t anything memorable about BC2's campaign.

Black Ops had the tunnel mision that I really liked!

I will say this much about eh CoD franchise, their Single Player campaign usually are pretty fun to play, they're not always very strong on story, but they're pretty enjoyable to go through.

Battlefield has always been about multiplayer, so to be fair, it makes sense that DICE isn't very good at delivering in this area, however I get the feeling BF3 may be a very different story.

As for Homefront, I'm assuming all of you will be playing this on the Console? I'm getting it for PC personally :-\

I just read the book so I am pretty hyped about the SP! I hear its a pain to follow the Boone guy around or whatever but that the story is good!

Yep. Written by Johm Milius! I really enjoyed the book and really has me hyped up! Made me want to fly to N.K and Punch Kin Jong in the face!

i dont need books, i can basically memorise every random piece of trivia.

especially on video games (such as all the place names from RDR and where they are), i always understand the story since it just gets absorbed as i play the game.

after one play through i will probably have memorized most of the events leadg up to the invasion.

it makes me appear as HUGE nerd whenever i talk about games, and its weird when i roll out quotes from old movies but i love it

Not a game guide book, buit a fiction book that tells the story of the events leading up to the game.

Im the same way with memorizing things in games.

I have every raid boss in wow in pre BC and BC , every instance and most quests memorized. And I havent played wow in a good 3 years.
