anybody have this, played it, or know about it? I want to buy it since I just finished prime 3 and I was wondering how it was. in the comercials I remember seeing it appeared to go in and out of first person view wich is kinds strange sounding, but I love metroid games.

All I ever heard was that it sucked....was never given a reason as to why.

I haven't played it but I've heard about it.

It's more of an action game than the other games, it looks like you can't walk around in first person, that's just for looking around and shooting stuff in the environment I think.

I heard it sucked because it pretty much removed exploration and samus talked.

Own it, beat it, liked it. Is it classic Metroid? No.....if you can get it for 35 or under ots worth it if you like Metroid. Samus is kinda whiny which I didnt like, but the gameplay and story was really fun to me.

removed exploration? are you saying that you don't control samus' movement, or they just trimmed down the levels? or am I totally misunderstanding what this game is like. I assumed it was similar to the other recent metroid titles

You have full control over her terry. The game is 3rd person, with some 1st person elements. The exploration is still there, just a tad different as you aqquire your powerups in a different way than normal.

hmmm I can handle samus being "off charicter" so long as the gameplay is there. I've played a lot of metroid games in my day and they ALL have delivered.

I may just go out and but this soon. Would be nice if I could pick it up used. Damn Montana and your lack of urban centers and Gamestops! Mad

Best buy is trading and selling used games now too. They had signs up in the store for it last time I was there.

Same with the Radio Shack here.

I played the first two ducksaws. I enjoyed all three, which is why I was seriously considering buying other M
