awesome......good games coming out....2 more weeks about until I get Mortal Kombat,then nothing good that I know of coming out until Sept. with Gears of War 3,Battlefield 3 in Nov,Skyrim in Nov,and Mass Effect 3 somewhere in there...although I think it'll get pushed back to Jan. honestly

I'll only have like, 1 month to play Gears 3 only though. I-I... has tEh fears that BF3 will keep me away from Gears 3. But I want to give love to both of them.

It's like having 2 hot girls that you like. Choosing is too hard. I'll have to be a man and love them both.

Also, I don't think it matters that it releases close to CoD. I mean, it's even better. It will keep the 1337 5nip3rs away for a while. I MUST get this for PC, but something makes me think that I'll end up having to buy it for both PC and consoles. That's 200 bucks right there, I don't wanna. D:

on Gears 2,I only did maybe 5 multiplayer matches ever online because it was either laggy,wouldn't find a match,and the matches I DID manage to get in was all rolling,shotgun=me dead lol.

I loved doing Hoard mode with friends online or split screen...never got to try system link lol.Or even the story mode co op,which is cool as hell they made it 5 player co op story for Gears 3 ^__^

Gears is what made me want the 360 in the 1st place

It'll be a nice change of pace to switch between it,and Battlefield 3.

Right, its just the release dates are sorta scary.
BF3 and MW3 could go two ways-
BF releases first, and does great for a few days, then is shadowed by all the fanboys who need to have the new CoD, even if it sucks. Or CoD will be outdone and outsold by an amazing game.
I hope its the latter. Im getting sick of the "Its a CoD, I HAVE to buy it" mentality. Granted, Blops was good, but I dont think that it or any other CoD is good enough to sell out just on its name.

I honestly believe we're going to see a turning point with the release of Battlefield 3, I think even the fan boys are starting to see that there's more than just K/D. I've managed to convince all my buddies to drop CoD and stick with Bad Company, one in particular I told him that you don't have to make 1 single kill and you can still be the top player of the match. After that he was hooked and they are all gonna be getting BF3... I've already warned the wife.

Not really. There will always be someone out there that wants to be Rambo/SnipArzS!1!!11!. It's better to keep them in the shitty games, than having them plaguing Battlefield as the steaming piles of shit known as bush wookiees/loners.

That's honestly the only use Activision's existence has. Keep the Battlefield games as camper/KD-whore free as possible with CoD.

I still shudder when I remember those games of my buddy, me and 10 bush wookiees against 12 bush wookiees. On defense.

This. Seriously. The multiplayer shit you can pull off sometimes is the thing that other games use for their trailers.

I would love a theater mode, but I do have to agree with what the developer (Bach I think it was) said in an interview. He didn't want people using it to cheat at the game.

For me though, I'm looking forward to Batman. I also don't really see MW3 as being real competition with BF3. Sure, it's going to draw big numbers in again, but with all the hype BF3 has been getting, it surely has my interest. CoD to me has become so drawn out. It's hard to feel for a game that has a new game coming out every single year.

how would people use theater mode to cheat?

One person finds a cheat tactic, uses theater mode to and uploads it to Youtube. At least that's my guess, but I don't think there was any specific mention in the interview. It could be said though that it's happening already. Capture cards, are an easy way to do it already.

Thats always been rare in BF anyway... With the map ljay out and structure, I can honestly say Ive never had a problem with cheaters. Sure, theres been annoying kids who stick to their one or two key houses, but we can blow those up

stuff like C4 UAVing would probably spread faster with a theater mode.

True. I like the fact that you have a stash of gameplay, and you can pick and choose which ones you want without recording them all. Like, on most days, Ill have a few amazing games, and the rest I only just go over 1.0. Its nice to have theater mode, because recording everything can be a pain in the ass.

I learned how to get to the roof of Ruins on Camp Gib due to someone recording himself on Theater mode.


Funny thing is that it was never patched, so it was intended to be a nice trick someone could play to rain hell on the point.
