it would have been decently cheap to open, $10000.fully supplied if building is up to code
15000 if not. That may seem like a lot....but my car was more than that...so instead of buying a second car...I open up a gaming pub.

Now people who say you can't serve greasy food are fools. What the hell is the point in serving food at all if it isn't filled with delicious grease? Besides, I don't think it would be too hard to implement a "wash you damn hands" policy before you play.

Yes, but it would be easy to get that money back. My friend and I figured out that if we opened a resturant in our area with a bar, the 30K you would spend in the bar part (liquor license and alcohol) could be made back within a couple months. Say a bottle of Vodka is $20. Charge $2 for a shot. A bottle easily holds 20 shots, that's $40 for that bottle, $20 profit. Naturally a top shelf shot/mix drink could cost a bit more, like $3 a shot, so even more profit!

yeah, the markup on shots is pretty high.

a single shot is 25ml, and a regular bottle is 750ml
750/25 = 30.

the price of a shot could be 1.50
30x1.50 = £45

£45 for what is a £20 bottle of spirits

Figure on a building the size of your average chain resturant. Kind of set up dividers into 4 sections, 2 of which would be bigger. Xbox and PS3 would go into the bigger sections, while you can set up the Wii and a wireless router for people with laptops. Keep a couple copies of games in stock for each console, about 10-15 controllers for each console, a couple headsets too, and maybe some flash drives to rent/buy. Parents would have to sign a waiver if their child is under the age of 18 to play games. Make a photo copy of their license as well, and it should be good. The only thing I could see being a slight problem would be with people yelling and cursing. Naturally a parent might not let their 13 year old son play a M Rated game, but that doesn't mean they would want their child hearing someone yell "I'm going to rape you in the ass and skull fuck your children!" or something like that. We could set up some warning system, but other than that, that's the only issue I could really see being the problem.

Yeah, internet/gaming cafes are pretty usual here in Greece too.

I heard on the radio this morning that in Greece you have some governemtnt chic wanting to sell some of the Greek island, and the Parthnon! HAHA WTF If Greece sells the Parthanon what the hell will the tourist come to see.

I really don't know, as I have no TV and do not follow current affairs. As for the Parthenon, fuck it.

Greeks are too caught up in their nationalist pride over achievements of the Ancient Greek society to see what a fucking shithole this country is.

I'd rather have tourists come to Greece and see things the way they are rather the an a image of culture and prosperity, outdated by a couple of thousand years of history.
