This is what it comes down too. The thing is, Gears is pretty cool, and I can get the game and ll the map packs for around 20 bucks. And lord knows I need a 3rd person shooter....
Or I could get both of the Reach map packs, which would be sweet. I love Reach, and defiant looks good. Its just that Reach doesnt make you suffer for not having them, so I could go without.

Suggestions??

I would suggest to just get some arcade games because the reach map packs have so little content.

If thats the case then I might as well get Gears. The Halo map packs arent a huge deal to me, seeing as the base maps are fine (except for reflection *shivers*) Unless bungie pulls shit like they did in halo 3, and makes the game obsolete if you dont have map packs, im ok.
Gears story and Horde mode are still BA though.
