free attack heli.

i joined a game of GC on farm.

someone had left a yellow health chimera right in our spawn.
i thus grabbed it and proceeded to rape a few peoples faces with said chopper

then i bought my own after it got proxied and did some more shootin'

loving the attack helis quite a bit, and used the LAV a few times on angel island, damn fun.

I've never flown one of the attack choppers in HF - I'm pretty lame at it, sadly.

I did get the little bird before though, and that was fun - and once I had enough points for an attack heli just as the round ended

I tend to spend most of my points on rocket launchers, airstrikes and the occasional drone, so I don't often save up to bigger numbers - I'm also struggling a bit to find a gun I really like. I've been using the SCAR assault rifle quite a bit, and doing ok with it - but it's a bit crap up close. Any recommendations?

I haven't played it in a few weeks, but will be back on it soon no doubt - especially if I've actually got people to play it with. I sent you a FR!

I didn;t like the M4 at first but after I tried it I found it to be a pretty good all purpose gun! I feel like M4 with steady aim has almost no recoil or sway at all.

I often get engorssed in shooting people that I don;t ever spend my points! Opps! I had almost 4000 pts once and the match ended and I was like Damn! I coulda bought some helos!

The ACR seems to be the easiest to use. good balence of accuracy and power

Hmmm...the M4 is the first one, right? I played with it a lot at first, but found it to feel a bit weak - once I unlocked the SCAR I switched, and did much better. Although last time I played I was awful, so that may have been down to more luck than judgement!

I've used the ACR a few times, but it just wasn't happening for me on that occasion.

I've had some decent times with the PWS Diablo SMG.....

Think I just need spend a bit more time actually getting better at the game (I've only put a few hours into multi) - thinking it's me not the guns that are rubbish

I'm actually decent at most fps games, which makes it more frustrating really - that's my disclaimer as I've just registered and I don't want you all thinking I'm just shit at games, lol

some great weapons (for me at least) are:

M4 + ACOG
T3AK + Silencer
ACR + RDS
Super V + Silencer
M16 + ACOG

ACR RDS is awesome, not as good as the silenced T3AK imo, but its a really decent gun all round.

i suggest using steady aim for all the ARs, it really helps.

Hmm well I think the M4 or the ACR are the easiert AR's to use.

I thought the M4 was weak at first as well but when I unlocked the Acog and slaped it on there with the steady aim ability it is an AWESOME gun I think. Typically I like irons but I do pretty good with the acog on that thing fo whatever reason.

The m4 did seem kind of week to me at first.... I did switch to the Scar, and owned, and then failed. So I went to the ACR red dot, and it did wonders! The ACR with red dot is just sorta a power house gun. If you land shots, its going to kill. Lately Ive gone back to the M4 with ACOG, and it too is awesome. It feels more powerful now.

Because its so damn accurate! Now that I have aiming in this game figured out, and what guns can and cannot do, its amazing. Not to mention fast. And it looks bad ass XD This is how the M4 should look in ALL military shooters, imo. It annoys me when games make shitty looking M4's (seeing as its meh fav gun)

I dont have a lot of cammo. It doesnt make sense, because I went on 10-15 kill streaks with my ACR, so I should, but it says I dont....

it has to be kills with the weapon.

killing 5 guys with the ACR and 10 with grenades/whatever only counts as a 5 streak for that gun.

The easiest way to get the streaks for me is by camping on a roof. There are still spots on maps that people have no clue how to get onto and you can camp for some sweet kills.


THe one gun I still suck ass with. The damn M16! I was excited for a single shot M16 but I think its trash. I just suck so bad when I try to use it!

Thanks for the tips, might give the m4 another shot then (no pun intended).....don't think I have the acog for it yet though.....

HAHA nothing wrong with camping if you do it right. I don;t camp the enemy spawn or anything.

getting to the ACOG is annoying, since you get killed a lot by ACR users.

luckily i experted the M4 in a few days of getting HF, so i was just at the start of the whole 'OMG ACR IZ PRO' stage everyone is in now...

i highly recommend a silencer, then the ACR'rs cant get the drop on you as easily.

Does the original assault default setup have a acog on the m4? I don;t remember. You could try resetting it back to default and see.

the original tactical is an ACOG'd ACR.

the original assault is M4 with holo mk1

Hmmm...don't remember - I know the tactical loadout had an ACR with acog, because I think I've still left that one intact so that I can use it (even though I have now unlocked the ACR)
