SOOOO close BC2 Gold/Plat stars..

Anyone else only need a few more kills to gold or plat something.

AN94 still need one. I'm waiting on some DB to get it.

I think I need 20 or so od kills to plat the AEK and I'll have all the ARS plated.

i'm at about 864 kills witht he m416
553 with the xm8
640 with the USAS
700 with the SAIGA.

I have aat least bronze stars with all the guns so I could get the patch.

I need 195 to plat the Saiga and it's taking FOOOOOREVVVER

once i get the all bronze weapons patch then i believe i have every patch and insignia?

I haven't played da video games in almost a week now.

My last patch that I had to get was the mortar strike one. Its been awhile though! Hell it was so long ago that Stormeye was in the game that I got that patch in! HAHA

Only Insignia I need yet is the one for the AT Mines. I don't play Engineer, so it's been a long road for that one. As for guns, I don't know what's close to getting what next. Haven't really bothered to look in some time as everyone has just been dying by the 40MM Shotgun or the M416.

So i briefly played last night.

ALMOST joined Lead as he was the only one on, then saw in the dashboard that kirby was playing with him.. Scratch that idea.

Got my gold star on the At4 literally seconds after i joined an arica harbor rush map. I spawn in on the first base on defense, and i'm right behind the two T90's. One is about half health so i start repairing it and a recon jumps in NOT FRIENDLY either. i keep repair tooling him and just below half health he starts driving away. out comes the AT4 and BOOOOOOOM double kill... HUH!? a guy musta spawned on him!! what an unlucky bastard.

then i hopped off cause non of my teammates were defusing. they were all just sniping.

AT Mines, and M60 both have 6 kills till plats. I'm tempted to try and bring as many guns as I can to 999 then when I rank 49, try and do one game that I get all of them. It's a shame there's no way I could get 26 guns to 999 before I hit 49 cause how awesome would that be to go from rank 49 to 50 in one match?

I don't think I have any guns close to plat. the only thing that comes to mind is the AT4 is at about 5 golds, and the AKS74U is at about 8.

I have sooo many guns platted, that I only have sniper rifles left to go it seems.

Is that even possible?

each plat is worth about 10,000 right? or is it 5,000?

I think teh best i've EVER done in a match was 25,000 pts. 2 plats/ace pin/gold squad/knife pin/m-com pin/combat efficiency pin.

According to statsverse I have 266000 from 49 to 50, at 10k per plat that's roughly 26 plats...which is impossible to do at my rank. You'd basically have to start saving your platinum stars from Rank...30? 40? Hard to say because to take 1 gun from 0 kills to 1000 kills you amass 106500 points from kills, plat star, gold stars, bronze and silver. So to take 26 guns to 999 would mean 96450 points x26 = 2,507,700 so basically whatever that rank equals...

Of course, none of that accounts for all the other multitude of points you earn from revives, heals, assists etc. I think you'd actually have to conciously start this from Rank 1... sounds like a Challenge!

Looking at it again, it's not possible because you'd need 29970 kills by rank 49...just with the guns. I don't care who you are, no one can do that.

Soooooooo i totally forgot what i was trying to do as a goal with certain weapons and i crossed the 1,000 frag kills yesterday.

totally forgot who i killed with the 1,000th... GAHHHHHHH

I did however kill a level 50 for my last kill to plat the AN94.

now to finish out the m416 (923?) i think.
