A 6 dayum?

Now it's not like i expect this game to be a solid 10/10 but some of the points they bring up are dumb.

"small amount of maps" It has a good amount of maps really don't know where they get that from.

"repetition" It's an FPS i don't know how it can't be repetitive?

I never take reviews seriously and most of the time i don't even read them but i thought this was interesting.

Technically i guess a 6 is above average but it just seems low .

I don't trust anyone who rates MW2 a 9.5.

I wasn't expecting that. I just sold all my other shooters today too.

One of the reasons I never really take reviews seriously from sites like ign is that the person they seem to get reviewing the game sounds like they never had any interest in the game at all.

I would appreciate if some of you give a small review of the game on here as I am a bit interested in the game but have my doubts about it.

Is anyone a big WFC fan? Cause they gave a review that didn't even sound like they were reviewing WFC. That's why I can give two shits about IGN.

Love that game and still play it often. It's not always easy to find full games, sadly, and occasionally there's crippling lag - but when it's good, it's really, really good.

Been reading a few reviews for Brink, and I've watched a lot of videos. I'm a pretty good judge of what games I will and will not like through my own research, and don't pay too much heed to review scores - mostly just checking them to ensure there's no game breaking nonsense going on.

I'm still very much looking forward to Brink, although I'll be interested in what some of you guys think about it - my copy won't be here until Thursday at the earliest.

I just saw that review. Disapointing. I wouldn;t worry about it. Homefront got a 7 from those guys. I love Homefront and it has plenty of folks on playing so I'm sure Brink will have its following as well.

Yeah. IGN had a review around the time WFC came out, and it didn't even sound like they were reviewing the game.

IGN hammered Socom 4 too, but I love it. So IGN's reviews are wortless.

Not just IGN though.


My favorite is the lag topics! HAHA I almost posted something about just wait for your day one lag but didn;t want to be too much of a dick. You know modest me! HAHA

But its day one release on a new game that I am sure has a ton of people trying to play! I am sure there is going to be lag for a day or two. I'm sure that will get cleared up fast.

People will always bitch about lag. I used to as well, then I got good internet. Problem solved! Crazy I know.

From the topics I have seen I don;t think its folks connections I just think its first dayitis.

Yea thats possible too and isnt uncommon with new releases.

Some people have said it's been really smooth and others say it's really bad so don't know what's true and what's not.

BC2, Black Ops, Homefront all had Day 1 issues. Hell BC2 was hit or miss for a week or two. Black Ops and Homefront where fixed within a day or two, at least for me. I imagine after a day or two Brink will be good to go. I just watch a vid review by some guy on Youtube and he was saying that he would join a lobby with 12 guys and when the game would go to start 10 of them would get dropped so I think there really are some issues going on.

And thats one of the reasons im staying away. Bethesda servers? No thanks...

No servers it's P2P.

P2P does have me worried. BC2, and Homefront run so smooth on the dedi servers now.

I hate playing COD and get that migrating to host grap. That break in play always throws me off! HATES it I say!

P2P is the cheaper way to go but it makes me wonder if they can't afford servers or cheaped out. But playing halo gives me hope because i never felt there was any kind of host advantage.

I thought I read they were dedicated.... well thats even crappier
