Recommend me some anime to watch on Netflix.

I really don't know what my tastes are in anime yet, so I can't really tell you what I look for.

But these are some of the most recent shows I watched if this helps any.

Those are just a few of the good ones I've seen on Netflix. I'll look at it some more later.

I hope you watched that for teh lulz because that's where caramelldansen came from. I just watched it assuming innocence not reading very deeply into the Wikipedia article. After the first 5 minutes of the first episode, I wanted my memory erased. But alas, what has been seen cannot be unseen Mad

Rurouni Kenshin is the only anime I've seen that hasn't been mentioned yet. It's definately cheesy at times, but other than that it's pretty good.
If I had to watch one of the anime up there, id say Full Metal Alchemist or Bleach is the best

Rurouni Kenshin is the best anime ever pretty much. You can watch Naruto but after the 50th episode they're pretty much just milking it for money.

Yu Yu Hakusho is good too but after the Dark Tournament it's eh.

Check out some Miazaki Films too, none on watch instantly, but Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away are both must sees whether you have any interest in anime or not.

Haven't watched in quite a while, but some I remember and loved:

Elfen Lied for your gory fix. It has it all! T&A, romance, bits and piece of people freshly dismembered.

Full Metal Panic. I loved every second of it. Comedy, downright silliness, battles (and I don't even like mechas, but FMP is so good.)

Basilisk. Amazing art, the story may not be the most original thing ever (think of Romeo and Juliet, but with ninjas) but I liked it, good characters, etc.

Monster. Art isn't all that amazing, but it fits the anime. Mystery, murder, shit like that.

Fate/Stay Night. A sort of battle royale between magi/wizards. Though the novel is way better (if you don't mind the porn bits I guess). I would recommend Tsukihime, but the anime is so fucking bad in comparison to the novel.

Berserk. Fucking brilliant, the artwork is a bit rusty since it's an old anime, but it's a must watch. I heard rumours that they were planning to continue its anime, since the original version has a lot more story than what is shown here. Anyway, watch this shit, even if you can't get the full story until someone continues where it left off.

I must forget some, but it's been so long already D:

Yes. Yes I did. But that was so long ago and it was like one of three things of anime that Netflix had on Instant Streaming.

But I liked it. Granted most of the plots of every episode werent great. But the deeper plot that ran through every episode was pretty good. And the characters were pretty enjoyable and I loved the artstyle.
Plus the few times they had fight scenes they were generally really good.

ALSO: I had no idea it was Hentai, or originated from a Hentai game in Japan until after I finished it. I just figured it was normal Japanese anime because of all teh bewbs.

But also, not a fan of Yu Yu Hakushu, or Naruto.
Never could sit through Hakushu, and I only watched Naruto because I was younger and now I realize how much crap it really is.

Tried watching Bleach a while back, couldnt sit through it, but then again that was a few years back. Might try it again.

But out of all the anime I have watched on Netflix The Sacred Blacksmith was easily the best. So much that I am thinking of buying the original Manga series and I already bought the whole soundtrack(such a beautiful score).

What, are you serious? What kind of shit does Netflix work with then? Are you telling me they have crap like Naruto but not fucking awesome shit like Berserk or Elfen Lied?

I'll check out some sites and edit / post when I get one. Or you could just download it from a torrent site I guess.

Kaze No Stigma was pretty good for what it was. A little heavy on the anime stereotypical characters and the second season made me believe I was watching inuyasha....bleh.

Short tempered/Headstrong schoolgirl with abilities beyond her comprehension...Check.

Pretty younger brother who the main character has a soft spot for....check.

Revenge motive against family who wrong aforementioned character....check.

It was pretty bad, luckily Kazuma was a badass...not Spike Speigel bad ass...but more like....Gene Starwind/Sanosuke Sagara badass. Yeahh.

He is right. I'm sorry I forgot. Get that one, not the crappy normal version.

Code Geass was all right for me, but went downhill in the second part, same with Death Note. Both started pretty fucking awesome, and at the last half or 3/4 of the series it kinda drops in quality.

I don't think it's on Netflix, but I have to recommend Cromartie High School. Any anime with a mute Freddie Mercury in high school is an A+ in my book. Also, the dub doesn't completely suck which is awesome.

Tbat actually sounds pretty damn awesome.

Me and my friend are going to watch some more Claymore tonight. Such a damn good show.

Claymore actually has some fame as being very inspired in Berserk. That is, of course, open to argument. Personally I do see some resemblances, but nothing that could be more than simple inspiration.

If I had to put it in a few words, it's the story of a man (Guts, even his name is badass) and his quest for revenge, fighting against fate itself.

As of now, I still have no clue on how he will accomplish his goal, since all/most odds are against him.

Edit: It's also a very NSFW story, if you care to know. The anime not so much, but the manga, definitely.
