I'm FINALLY getting a CAR! :D :D :D :D :D

It's actually really good for what I'm paying for it. I'm getting it for $750; I think it's a Subaru Legacy, and it has electric everything in it and all-wheel drive. Sure, it has 220,000 miles, but I'm still going to have a car It just needs a mirror on the right side, and the windshield has a small crack in it.

Also, it beats the hell out of the other car I was going to get a few years ago; it was a Dodge Intrepid that my parents have owned forever, and it has 250,000 and is having engine troubles and lots of problems.

This means I can FINALLY get out of my small town to look for a job, instead of trying to compete with everybody else over even the smallest of job opportunity and failing for 3 years in a row.

I am jealous, 220k miles is a shit ton but if you take goodcare of it i am sure it can last another 30k maybe. 750 ain't much and what you need to fix shouldn't be too expensive hopefully it won't crap out with all those miles though.

Is it the hatchback legacy? Those are soooo badass... I don't have my license yet only my permit which almost expires soon Everyone is too busy to teach me consecutively.

Yeah, I'm just really happy I have something I can actually move around in, and it's in really good condition for the price. It's still running really quiet and everything.

Thats the sedan model then you know the year on it? i am hopeing my first car will be a subaru hatchback(I have a thing for hatchbacks idk why) or a truck/jeep need something for the crazy snow we get here.

Nah, I'm not sure on the year, unfortunately. My father knows all of the vehicle specs, but I don't. I only went over to sign for it today; I was very nervous. After I had signed it, going home could come fast enough because I was so nervous to be in front of somebody I didn't know. xD

I still have to get my liscense, but when I do my friends step dad is giving me his 2001 Toyota Tacoma for free. All I got to pay for is the insurance and registration.

That kinda sucks. Well, the main reason I'm going to Spokane is to get a job; I've been trying to get a job since I was 18. Between the economy sucking and all businesses being family run, getting a job around here is nigh impossible. I guess I'll get to practice my social skills a bit more once I get a job at least. No girls were ever interesting in me (not even in the slightest) in college, so I know I probably will never get married or anything. I was kinda bummed about it at first, but the more I think about it, like to be alone most of the time anyways; may as well not mope about it and enjoy my freedom.

A lot of cars can run for under 1000 but that doesn't mean they'll run for long.

Depends on the miles and the condition. If i am buying a new car it should last me atleast 10 years.

It's definitely not new, but it's still better than the other car I would've received (and would've cost more to fix)

if i get 12,000 miles before a serious breakdown on $750 car... im happy.

and at the rate i drive that would probably take about 3 years.
