I was wondering if it's possible to make a house out of obsidian or would it take to long. i'm looking for something to make out of all that obsidian in my mine and a house seems like a good idea. what do you guys think?

damn. no wonder all the obsidian was left in my mine untouched. i'll put out the challenge then. there is enough obsidian in my mine for a building. wouldn't SeC town be so much more awesome with an obsidian building. So lets make a obsidian bomb shelter or something. ohhh i know. lets make a vault like in fallout. Obsidian House 2855922021

just tried.... ended up dying in the lava 3 times and lost all my stufffff...

I had gotten up to like 30 obsidian blox too!

Oh, and watch out for lava under the blocks. You don't want to mine one a while and watch it fall into a pit of no return.

Thats why i hadnt mined the Obsidian yet was getting other minerals out first then going back for it

By the way the Di Pick in that Chest is mine and the Chests down the very bottom are useful for storing stuff so it doesnt get destroyed when you fall in Lava

Lol i accidentally connected to Manilla mine from my own one

If you go left from the bottom of the ladder then take the right fork youll get to my Pit mine and the start of my Auto Harvest farm Very Happy

If you dig one block down into the obsidian with lava under it then dump a bucket of water in the hole you can mine the rest of the obsidian and the water will harden the lava under it before it can burn the block you just mined.

yeah, mine using water.

if you have a source block nest to the obby, the water will flow faster than the obby will fall, so you'll have more obby under the obby you just mined Smile
