Born and raise an Oklahoma Sooner fan. I followed the Lions in Pro ball. Barry Sanders was so much fun to watch. NBA has some amazing athletes. But of course I'm a Thunder fan.

Like all my hometown teams. I would probably be an NBA fan if my city had a team (we're like the biggest city in the US that doesnt have a team). same goes for NHL.

I hear KC is always searching for an NBA team Zillah. It will come eventually.

There was talk about the new orleans hornets moving here but I dont know what happened to that. They recently built a pretty big arena downtown (sprint center) so it would be perfect.

The NBA owns the Hornets right now. I'm sure they will sell it soon. But I havent heard much on that. I heard Vegas was interested in them too.

I can see Vegas picking up multiple major league teams with how fast its growing and the whole sports betting industry there.

KC has proven it is a Pro city though. If OKC can get a team, KC should be able to support one.

Plus theres a huge following of NCAA basketball here with the nasty MU v KU basketball rivalry and the ncaa tourney games.

im going to see an explorers game on saturday with the brian brothers (doubles tennis). should be fun.

And soccer. But not that north american garbage. Soccer will never flourish in the Canada or the States. They just can't play it.

Seriously, whenever I've watched american soccer, it's like watching lower than minor league in a European country with average soccer championships.

It is played differently here, dont really like it as much tbh.

It's that holier than though attitude that makes me hate the sport. I can accept a person who is a soccer fan. But a soccer fan can't accept that I dont like his sport. Not picking on you greg. I get that kind of response from just about every soccer fan I talk to. To each his own.

It's not holier than though attitude. American soccer is just not as well played. I don't know if it has to do with a lack of history in the sport and thus possibly a lack of foundations, but it's sub-par in every way. Especially the goalies, man.

I cringe when I see American soccer league goalies play.

I guess its could be compared to European basketball.

I wouldn't really know, so I can't comment on the analogy. BBall seems amazingly boring to me, no matter where on the globe it's being played.

1. College Football- Born in Columbus. Football is in my blood. Massive die hard Buckeye fan.

2. MLB- Cleveland Indians

3. NFL- Cleveland Browns

4. NCAA Basketball- Buckeyes again

5. NBA- Cleveland Cavaliers

Soccer makes me want to vomit. Just needed to throw that one in there to balance this thread a bit

Basketball: Lakers(Very pro Kobe)
College B-Ball: Duke(In NC...this is a no no)
Baseball: Red Sox(Yeah...im that guy)
Soccer: Sao Paolo/Real Madrid

I was a Brady Fan when the Patriots went 1-15 in regular season back in '01. I believe.

My grandparents are die hard lakers fans, I grew up with them, so I am too. Kobe is a cocky prick and I enjoy that.

Duke is a trolling tool. Eff the tarheels.

Red Soxs come from me using them to great effect in baseball games in my youth.

There are methods to my madness. Besides outside of the Lakers, these teams havent really been barking too high up the success tree lately.
