started playing Fable III again

and no matter how hard that i try, i cannot:

but aside from all that, i actually had a lot of fun. the first time around was not so cool for me, but i played co-op with the boyfriend, and that was A LOT funner than playing solo (even if i maybe perhaps beat the crap out of him a few times for casting fireball for no reason one too many times. ahem.)

at any rate, am i the only one who felt pretty frackin' miffed that you had to purchase the black dye? i mean, W-T-F, seriously.

I've been playing it too, still haven't beaten it yet with like 30 hours in.

I think it's a good game overall but god damn is it glitchy. The butler dude doesn't talk to me anymore(well all he really did was tell me to buy stupid DLC shit) and the d-pad shortcuts in the sanctuary don't work for me anymore either.

I also had this really fucking weird glitch where me and a bartender were just humming and laughing at each other nonstop and there was absolutely no way to escape it. It was tripping me out.

And yes having to buy more dyes is bullshit, I hate it when developers nickel and dime their customers like that.

I still have not played this. I don't know if I will. I saw they have a demo out in the marketplace, so I might try it. But... I dunno.

it was fun but it wasnt an amazing game. it lacked the spirit of the previous games.

i still enjoyed playing it though.

It was a single-playthrough game for me, alas. I like the lore, but not the money grubbing work and monotonous little side quests.

i didn't get that many glitches when i played through, but Jasper sometimes tells me i have a present waiting for me, when clearly there is none >.> very irritating.

it was fun while it lasted, but once i beat it, i had no desire to play any longer (not to mention i had amassed more money than god, and that made everything sort of boring.)

you should try it sheepies, at least try the demo. it's not the best, but it's entertaining.

Fable TLC was amazing. Fable 2 was meh, so I havent played 3, as it looks even more watered down than 2 did. I mean really no inventory system? WTH were they thinking?

I never got to play the original Fable.

is it any better than Fable 2? Fable 2 had a great aesthetic system with fart jokes for crowds and dying your hat different colors and making lines appear on your face, but after all that there wasn't really anything to do in the game cause the questline was really short.

you can DL Fable off Live for next to nothing, i played it a little bit.

imho Fable 2 was waaaaaaaaaay better than 3, but there were a lot of improvements with 3, unfortunately they sort of botched everything else a smidge, and the storyline is pretty short, and forces you into the whole good/bad thing in a very VERY stupid way.

but, all in all, it is a lot of fun to play with someone else, i made my boyfriend marry me in game and have babies, he was like c'mon woman, wtf.

the boss fight was a piece of piss.

no shit, i took no damage simply by rolling sideways and spamming fire/shock combo spells at him.

once you get level 5 spellweaved magic the game gets too easy

The boss fight in Fable II was "press Y" *cutscene* so I can't be much worse.

You cant die in Fable 2 or 3. There is no challenge, quite possible the easiest game of all time was Fable 2. I was turned off by everything. That stupid golden trail, your annoying as hell dog, the horrid story etc.....I was disappointing because Fable TLC on Xbox was one of my favorite action-RPG's ever. But they stripped all the RPG elements and all challenge and streamlined it into a scar simulator. And from what I hear 3 just takes this approach to a higher level. Ugh.....Just IMO of course. I like my RpG's big, with a deep leveling system, with loot and different types of enemies. Fable is dead to me. The first was awesome and will always have a special place in my heart, but the killed it.

the dog in F3 was utterly useless. it didnt even get hurt so there was NO emotional attachment at all.
