Vote in your favorite Sci-Fi film. The genre is huge so this should be fun.

I enjoyed District 9. But I watched it after everyone said it was awful. So I had low expectations. That always makes movies better.

Also, I NEED to watch Sharktopus. Atleast that movie looks enjoyable, or atleast more then Mega Shark vs giant Octopus.

I don't hate Star Wars, but the movies have never more than passingly interested me... maybe it's because I was introduced to the awesomeness that is Stargate first.

Matrix was enjoyable to watch.... just not my favortite. There are somany better movies ut there I think.


Star Wars is weird for me. I really like the movies....... but maybe the new ones just ruined the whole star wars experience for me.

I could only stand to watch each of the first three Star Wars films once. Or first three in the story.

but Ihave watched the original 3 multiple times and each time I just go "And people enjoy this?" and try and figure out why.

The only good things in those movies is Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford.
Also I have always found the villians extremally unevil and boring.

The Emperor was like only truly evil in one spot. Vader was kinda cool but after the trash that was Ep.3 all he is now to me is some manipulated, hormonal, whiny teen brat.

And don't make me get started on Boba Fett, the supposed BAD ASS of the galaxy/

ROTS was big for me. Connecting the stories together and kind of laying out the blueprints for what is to be A New Hope. My first movie in theaters as a kid was Return of the Jedi. I was pretty young, but I remember it.

Episode 1 and 2 were okay, but they were my least favorite.

yeah ROTS is probably my favorite, because like you said, everything comes full circle.

Star Wars 1 was the first movie I ever saw in theaters. jar jar binks ya know.

Which one? The BBC miniseries or the American film? I thought both were pretty meh, compared to the book. I laughed my ass off reading that book, but I don't think I laughed at all while watching those.
