Finally rented it for my PS3, and...

I'm almost finished with the campaign. Played it on Guerrilla.

It's quite a boring campaign... It's basically generic FPS #142. I'm already finishing it, and I've just played for a bit. I can't imagine how short it actually is, given that I died a lot in the difficulty level. I don't know since I went straight into that mode, but it seems like it's one of those games with "artificial" difficulty. As in: You die quicker/enemy takes more hits.

I played multiplayer for a while. That Conquest-like game mode, ground control I think it's called. In short, it's a poor man's Battlefield. At least that's the impression I got from the matches I played to hit the level 5 cap imposed by the stupid battle code (I hate this shit).

I agree. It's shovelware, imo.

I wouldn't be THAT harsh. But it's certainly a game that didn't deserve all the marketing it got.

Shovelware would be more like... Ubisoft's "Imagine" shit haha.

I have to agree with you, Ars.

It is a B game at best, but I enjoyed it for a while. After tons of BC2 it was a nice change of pace. There are things about the game I like (the BP system, drones), but overall it was a poor substitute for BC2.
