Good game. Damn good game.
I can honestly say that it exceeded my expectations. Granted I didn't expect much, but still. I absolutely loved the style of it. A lot of people said it was outdated, but maybe that's what I liked about it. No complex story, just good old shooting platformer fun. The aiming controls aren't great, terribly imprecise, but honestly I liked the feel of them. It made it an actual challenge to hit the enemies so you had to do more than just know when to shoot and when to take cover.
And the controversial hive level with the alien rape and what not, really not much worse than it is in DN3D.
I definitely recommend this game to fans of the old one and fans of games like Half Life. It's already down to $30 on Amazon and is definitely worth at least that. You could probably get it cheaper in not too long of a time from now, but the multiplayer might be pretty dead by then(I haven't tried it yet but it's obvious it's gonna be short lived).
