Hey lets fight a never ending horde......like in every game ever!!! Spec-ops mode was ok since it was missions with crap and stuff. This is just another jobber mode distraction for drug addicts. I saw that since every drug addict I have ever known plays those poop modes. This in MW3 is just the icing on the fail cake that has become that franchise......it also happens to be shit flavored.

So then horde in Gears 3 is going to suck then? The idea is overused, but when implemented properly, it can yield fantastic results. That I will give IW credit for if they execute. Multiplayer is probably going to be as broken as MW2 and Black Ops tho.

I don't think I'll get it, but the survival spec ops doesn't look half bad except for the part where all the guns seem to have exactly the same behavior as MW2.

It looks pretty cool.....if I do buy this game, it'll be primarily for the campaign and this mode as I'm not that big a fan of the online since the original MW.

However, I'm a bit gutted that the mission style Spec-Ops seem to have been replaced completely with this survival mode style play. I don't have anything against these horde style gametypes in particular, but I don't think it's that good a fit for CoD.

I guess there are some different enemy types with the Juggys and demo-dogs, but it still has that whack-a-mole gameplay that the campaign has, minus the downtime, build up and set pieces.

Conversely, the mode suits Gears really well (and Gears 3 looks excellent) - far more enemy variety, as well as more intelligent ai that mostly isn't dropped in just a couple shots.....yeah, actually I just got less excited for MW3 I think scratch

Horde mode is meant to spend time on while waiting for Tyler, Brandon, and xXxD@RKSC0P3xXx to get on, so you can go play the real game, O-kay. You don't bank your game on Filler modes.

Then again I happen to seeing things with the eyes of a intelligent person(I killed them and took their eyes) so I happen to see things differently.

spec ops is going to be a crappier horde mode and that trailer in the words of dark looked liek it was made by a kid with adhd. it kinda reflects how your going to feel about the game

I wasn;t planning on getting this....... I will say this mode looks fun. I ove horde mode on Gears, I love zombies on Black ops.... So yes this fits with what I like to play! It made me think about getting it.... Not saying I will but I did like what I saw.

I don't HATE the CoD franchise. Simply because I never played more than 10 hours of MP for it. But I do generally like the campaign and I love anything co-op. My best friend and myself always have fun with anything co-op, whether its a survival or an actual mission based gameplay.



I won't be buying this, but I'm sure my buddy will. So I will play this a little I'm sure.

I wouldn't buy it personally......I wonder how long before people get tired of the same old call of duty every year pretty much.

oh well I guess,it keeps all the kids off battlefield mostly I guess.

zombies is cool,but bad hit detection and running into invisible walls pissed me off and after awhile a zombie taking 100000 bullets to kill is no fun.

I'd rather just play the Gears 3 horde mode

GM's right! I was feeling like an ass one night..... Yea imagine that right so I designed my emblem to have a big ole balistic knife and a heart and made it look obnoxoius. Then I put Lightweight on, The second pro perk that makes you recover faster from knife lunges and marathon, and went arounf with the balistic knife going crazy. After the first game I got back in the lobby and some guy was just cussing me out and how cheap I was and I knifed him like 10 times.


That was a fun nioght for me anyway!

I really don't care for SpecOps. Oh wow, more shitty AI... and the appeal is to beat my own score? No thanks.

I don't know why, but I just don't care for time trials and stuff like that. It's just the same thing over and over until you get better at it. I'd rather compete against other people.

IDK. I really could care less about CoD. I mean, I'm not going to talk shit about it, or people that like it, but I don't think it's a good game, so I just don't care.

Zombies is pretty sweet, though, and I don't mind playing the campaigns.

Zombies for WHATEVER reason is just damn fun! My wife watched me p lay some zombies last night and asked a few questons. when I told her that you never one it was just to see how long you could survuve she was like. What where is the fun in that. BUT IT IS FUN!!!!!!!!
