This is major. Some of the new abilities are going to make crappy pokemon good.

The biggest ones:

Blaziken gets Speed Boost
Politoad gets Drizzle
Ninetales gets Drought
Vapoareon gets Hydration
Swampert gets Damp

So, Ninetales will lose Flash Fire, so no more attacking each other and boosting power with other Flash Fire pokemon. Sad

All the pokemon with new abilities still have their old ones.

No. They still only have one ability. There is a chance to get a different one.

it still sounds bad

Hydration Vaporeon sounds too good for OU.

Yeah but Vaporeon is one of my favorites, I'd hate to see it bump up where it can't compete as well like Garchomp did.
